Motorbike license A1
The motorbike license A1 can be obtained from the age of 16 and authorizes the driving of motorbikes up to 125cm3 with a máximum power of 11Kw.
The process consists of two theoretical exams: common theoretical test with a 30 question test (this theory will serve to obtain the B license) and specific theoretical with a 20 question test.
Once the two theoretical exams have been passed, two practical exams must be taken: a closed circuit in which a circuit will have to be passed in less than 25 seconds and an open circuit with a duration up to 35 minutes.

Motorbike license A
The A license of motorbike is the one that allows to drive motorbikes with no power limit. To obtain it, it is necessary to be 21 years old and have held the A2 permit for at least two years.
It is a live training course of nine hours without exam, 3 hours of theory, 4 hours of practical training in closed circuit and 2 hours of circulation in open circuit.
Motorbike recicling lessons
There is the possibility to take recycling or improvement lessons because many times the B license is obtained, which after three years authorizes the use of motorcycles of up to 125cc and a máximum power of 11Kw, but this does not imply having previously driven a motorbike or scooter, so it is important to acquire some knowledge before going out the road.
Motorcycle license A
If you are in love with motorbikes, you will not find a better place in Ibiza than Autoescuela Residencial to be able to get all the motorbike permits that we have available complete and the easiest to obtain.
For experienced motorcyclists, the best license is the A driving license, since it is the most complete and the easiest to obtain.
WHAT MOTORCYCLES CAN I DRIVE WITH THE TYPE A CARD?
The A license is the only license with which we can drive motorcycles of all types of cylinder capacity. The minimum age to obtain it is 20 years (although until 21 you are not allowed to drive any motorcycle with a power greater than 15kw).
This is so because to obtain this permit it is necessary to have 2 years of seniority of the A2 permit. This fact is regulated in this way so that drivers have more practice driving smaller displacement vehicles before traveling with larger motorcycles.
HOW DO YOU GET THE MOTORCYCLE PERMIT?
This motorcycle license is the only one that does NOT require any type of theoretical or practical exam. It is obtained after completing a small course in our center.
The course is made up of 3 hours of theory, 4 hours of practice on a closed circuit and 2 hours of driving on roads open to traffic.
FREQUENT QUESTIONS
DO I HAVE TO EXAM FOR THE MOTORCYCLE LICENSE IF I HAVE THE CAR LICENSE?
To get the A2 motorcycle license it is necessary to be examined even if we have the type B license. To get this license it is necessary to take two theoretical exams: the common theoretical exam (exempt for holders of the B card), in addition to a specific theoretical exam on motorcycles and two practical exams (practical exam of maneuvers in the closed circuit of the DGT and practical on open roads, that is to say on the road.
Students who have the A1 motorcycle license will not have to take any theoretical exam; and, if the A1 license previously mentioned is more than two years old, they will also be exempt from the closed circuit maneuvers test.
HOW ARE THE PRACTICAL EXAMS FOR THE A1 AND A2 MOTORCYCLE LICENSE?
To obtain the A2 motorcycle license you must pass 2 practical tests, which we detail below:
- MANEUVERS test in the DGT closed circuit: The test is made up of two parts: a maneuver test to see the student’s skill in avoiding obstacles (without a time limit) and a speed test to see how long it takes to complete the circuit (maximum time for this test is 25 minutes). Seconds, is known as the fast part).
- Test on OPEN ROADS: If the student has passed the first part of the motorcycle license, they can be examined in this second phase, which is very similar to the car driving test. In this case, the student will be riding the motorbike of the driving school in which he has carried out the practices and his teacher, the examinee and the rest of his classmates will supervise him in a duly identified car behind from which he will receive the examiner’s instructions by radio. This exam will be passed with a maximum of 10 minor faults or various combinations of minor and poor faults. If the student has a qualifying offense, she will suspend the motorcycle license and will have to retake only this part of the exam.
